Disney have announced all its movies released in the next 3 years

Gather up some snacks and prepare to buy approximately 5,000 cinema tickets in the next 3 years: Walt Disney have just announced all the movies to be released before 2019.

During the D23 fan convention earlier this year, Disney laid out its theatrical schedule through 2017 - and the Mouse House has now announced the release dates for more films stretching through 2019.

The third Cars movie will premiere in UK cinemas on 14 July, 2017.

Chris Hemsworth is back on our screens for the third instalment of the Thor films, and it's rumoured that The Hulk will be making an appearance, too. Thor: Ragnarok will be released on October 27, 2017, in the UK, and November 3rd, 2017, in the US.

Inspired by Mexican celebration, Day of the Dead. Expected in UK cinemas on December 8, 2017.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

The eighth episode of the Star Wars franchise is due in UK cinemas December 15th 2017.

Movie Web say Disney's live-action remake of 101 Dalmatians will focus on Cruella De Vil - played by Emma Stone - and her back story, whilst reporting that it's out on December 22nd 2017.

2018 sees the introduction of a very new Marvel superhero movie starring Chadwick Boseman. Black Panther is due to come out in UK cinemas on February 9, 2018.

The remake of the 1963 Madeleine L'Engle novel star Oprah Winfrey. Storm Reid, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and Zach Galifianakis. Expect to see it in UK cinemas in March 2018.

Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2

The retro-gaming animation is back for a sequel, due to be released March 23, 2018 in the UK.

This live action family film is out in the US on April 6, 2018, so expected to be out in the UK around the same time.

Avengers: Infinity War

The 2018 sequel will apparently be a two-part film - with the Independent reporting that the first part Infinity War coming out on April 27th 2018.

Currently untitled Star Wars spin-off

A Star Wars spin-off movie is allegedly in the works, and will be a prequel about Han Solo. Digital Spy say it'll be released in the UK on May 25, 2018.

Paul Rudd's Ant-Man embarks on a new adventure with The Wasp, played by Evangeline Lilly. In cinemas June 29, 2018 in the UK.

The main characters - Elastigirl, Mr. Incredible, Violet, Frozone, Dash and Jack-Jack - are back, this time for a story that focusses mainly on Elastigirl's life of fighting crime. Rumours has it there's a new lead character coming, too. It's due in UK cinemas on July 13, 2018.

Following the success of the live-action version of Cinderella, Disney announced loads of other cartoons were being made into real life productions, too - with MovieMarker suggesting Mulan'srelease date is Nov 2nd 2018 .

Mary Poppins Returns

With Emily Blunt already cast as Mary Poppins in the live-action remake of the original IMdb have reported that it's due to be released on Dec 21st, 2018.

Another awesome female led superhero film hits up our screens in 2019, with LaunchingFilms reporting the release date as March 8, 2019.

The live-action adaptation of the story of the big-eared flying Elephant will star Eva Green, Michael Keaton and Colin Farrell, and be directed by Tim Burton. Rumoured for release in March 29 2019.

Avengers: Infinity War- Part II

IMdb say the third and final instalment of Avengers will be released on April 206, 2019 in UK cinemas, but currently has no name.

Star Wars episode IX

Yep, another Star Wars movie - which the details about this one being more sparse than the last. What we do know, though, is it will be directed by Jurassic World's Colin Trevorrow and is reportedly released on May 24th 2019. according to IMdb.

Toy Story 4
Yep, they're doing another one. The story will be a love story between Woody and Bo Beep, and The Independent report it will be released in US cinemas on June 21st, 2019, so will likely be similar in the UK.

Untitled Indiana Jones sequel

Details are sparse, but we do know it'll be directed by Steven Spielberg. Released in cinemas July 19, 2019.

Directed by the man behind the live action version of The Jungle Book, Jon Favreau, a remake of The Lion King is coming and it sounds AMAZING. Due in UK cinemas on July 19, 2019.

Disney have confirmed Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Mena Massoud as Prince Ali and Will Smith as the Genie. All we need now is a confirmed release date - because right now it's rumoured to be any time in 2019.

Inspired by classic story Jack and the Beanstalk, the movie will follow Jack, who stumbles upon giants in the sky and befriends a 60 ft, 11-year-old girl named Imma. Release date in the US is November 25, 2020, so we can assume it'll be around the same time for the UK.
